Cream Calendar Heavy Cream, Leslie Keffer and Scott Martin & Deluxin' Tonight at The End [Noise and Girls]

Word on the street says Heavy Cream will be putting a long player together this year for your home stereo listening, but in the meantime they'll be at The End tonight, snarl-bouncing the night away. As per D. Patrick in this week's Critics' Picks:
Do you like pop hooks and cleanly played, concisely arranged, easily classifiable music? Then stay the hell away from this one. Seriously. Using a table full of sundry pedals and effects processors, Leslie Keffer, known to some as the queen of the Nashville noise circuit, creates alien soundscapes rich with dense, ominous, oscillating layers of static. The material of noise-punkers Deluxin', on the other hand, lands a bit closer to conventional--at least in the sense that primary member and former Be Your Own Pet bassist Nathan Vasquez uses instruments like guitars and drums, however abrasively they may be played. Then you have Heavy Cream, the co-ed mini-Ramones-biters who have graced our publication's pages more than once. Throw them all together, and what do you get? A few busted eardrums and one helluva sweaty good time, that's what. Just what the doctor ordered for your Seasonal Affective Disorder.
