You already know that Justin Kase has joined the touring band of the L.A.-by-way-of-Brentwood (by way of L.A.) popster Kesha--or Ke$ha, if you're into that sort of thing. (Depending on who you talk to, this new gig may or may not consist of standing behind turntables during the show and looking cool, then collecting a check. Either way, it's pretty nice to see a local DJ on the MTV.) You also know that Kase has been working on a new project called Fitout, and it's under that moniker that he's taken Kesha's download-record-breaking party jam "Tik Tok" and given it the dub remix treatment. It's the perfect soundtrack for brushing your teeth by on those mornings (or afternoons) when you wake up (in an empty hot tub) feeling like Sean Combs!

Ok, I'll admit I'm pretty out of touch with the current affair of Top 40 music, but GOD DAMN THIS IS SHIT. Do people really (an I ask this seriously) enjoy this? I made it all of 25 seconds in and I wanted to gouge my eardrums out with a gardening trowel.
Wash my mouth with Jack? Boys & cellphones? Pedicures & trying on clothes? Brentwood + L.A. = sure is Affluenza season around here.
I'll admit that 'I Want to Hold Your Hand' isn't exactly Pulitzer prize level writing and most Kyuss songs don't get much beyond 'drugs are fun', but at least those artists tried to something other than scream: 'LOOK AT ME IM COOL LOOK AT ME IM COOL LOOK AT ME' for 3 minutes. I swear to god people who listen to this must either be 12, retarded or both.
Were 'Ice Ice Baby' and 'U Can't Touch This' (my early teenage pop touchstones) this bad? Or have the rose colored glasses of nostalgia tainted my objectivity on this matter?

The original song is very nice- this remix is just awful, sorry. It's TOO remixed, if there is such a thing.

Wow, an unexpected Kyuss reference, nice!
I have to point out that not ALL of their songs are about drugs being fun though-- some of them are about flying over the desert with Satan which, come to think of it, is also fun!

unfortunately its not hacked. i bought it at walmart with money i saved while working at taco bell last summer. they have the best production software there. its kind of unreal. the casio i picked up at a pawnshop for 10 bucks. its the deluxe model with a built in speaker and drum machine. i just taped a microphone to the top of it. works relatively well. saving up for garage band atm but i cant seem to find a copy for pc. do you know where i can pick it up?
