From the Department of Great Day in the Morning: Remember when you were all like, "Man, I'd _____ a _____ if I could just hear 'Blue in the Blacklight' live one more time"? Well, get ready to keep your promise!
And to think, yesterday I started composing a blog post about how 2010 was already a huge disappointment and we might as well move on to 2011 already--I mean, not living up to the hype is one thing, but when the only hype is "please don't suck as bad as last year," and the new year is having trouble even doing that, I mean, come onnnnn. But then I got a hot cyber surprise last night that made my inbox go all boomy: Our favorite punky scrapsters MEEMAW have called it un-quits (at least for one show), and the trio of McFarland-Pujol-Traylor will reunite at The End on Friday, Jan. 22, alongside JEFF the Brotherhood, Marj! and So Jazzy. And they've got a flyer with an incredibly wrong-looking pageant baby to prove it.

Nice! As much as I love this, I would love it so much more if it wasn't just a one time deal. I can only hope this show leads to a full album and a worldwide tour!
