It's the end of the Aughts, Nashville! What to do on New Year's Eve? Lucky for you, this here flowchart will help you decide. Just follow the lines and stuff. Of course, there wasn't room for everything that's going on--this is the big city, after all. In addition to all the sexy stilt-walkin' and Broadway guitar-droppin' and Pink Delorean-dancin' there's a 12-band juggernaut going down at the Hamilton that is Little, as well as some shindiggery at Betty's. I was gonna say The 5 Spot, but I don't think My So-Called Band has learned any Pele or Tristeza songs yet.

They may be self-important . . . but the noise bands are the LEAST pretentious bands in this town. At any rate, the Little Hamilton Show is on the 30th, so it doesn't apply for this article.
regarding door covers, 5 Spot is $10. I just heard the sold-out Guilty Pleasures was $50!

First, I was talking about the "tunez," not the bands. I wouldn't cast aspersions about people I've never met.
Secondly, saying that "they may be self-important" and in the next breath claiming them to be "the LEAST pretentious" is disingenuous. If anything, I'm guilty of tautology.
