If there were ever a band that had "Wildhorse Saloon" written all over them it'd have to be Foreigner. While it seems inevitable that any time the jukebox heroes breeze through town their gig would go down at the 2nd Ave. home of the man-perm, the British former hit-machine are inexplicably slated to appear a few blocks over at the Mother Church of country music. That's right--Foreigner are playing The Ryman on Mar. 16. How 'bout them head games? Ever wanted to know what it's like to hear make-out anthems like "Cold as Ice," "Waiting for a Girl Like You," "I Want to Know What Love Is," "Urgent" or "Double Vision" sung off-mic from the ass-numbing comfort of a church pew? For $29.50-$39.50 all your dreams can come true.

Unfortunately for Foreigner fans, original singer Lou Gramm is too busy promoting his latest Christian rock offering to re-join the band for the current tour. Also, after 34 years, Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones is still not the same Mick Jones as the infinitely cooler Clash guitarist of the same name. Moreover, Zeppelin spawn Jason Bonham, who beat the skins for the band from 2004-2008, won't be playing with them either. Bummerino Metropolis. Who says no one ever comes to Nashville? Tickets are currently on sale.
