Cream / Cream Calendar Happy New Year and Stuff: The Cream Is on Vacation [Updated]

Update 4:20 p.m.: The computer at Lake Fever Productions with all the important shit on it died a horrible digital death, and so, sadly, there will be no Chris Crofton Show Christmas special. We hope and expect everything will be back in working order for next week's show. Sorry!
The Cream is on vacation!
Hopefully you are, too, or will be soon. Don't worry, we're still slaving away at our other job--the one we get paid for--and this week's episode of The Chris Crofton Show will be up before Christmas, so check back for that. All your Cream favorites will be back in action slacks Monday, Jan. 4. Of course, if something incredibly awesome or important happens before then, we might post it. Somewhere, at least. Inquiries, tips and glögg recipes may be sent to cream @ this domain.

We Own This Town has their "Best of 2009" podcast up now, and Charlie Tygard wants you to stop putting fucking flyers up everywhere. The Spin caught the Mountain Goats show at Mercy Lounge, but didn't have a religious experience quite the way David Dark did. Check it.
Or how about revisiting some old threads? KOL vs. The Spin, anyone? (Or how about KOL vs. USA? Or KOL vs. sweet, sweet guitar? Or who could forget the KingBilly episode? ("You spelled dictionary wrong." Classic!) Then there was that Paramore LiveJournal kerfuffle, and the Lenny Kravitz thread where love did not rule at all.

Yeah, we know, Toby. Sorry about that. Apparently the principal computing device over at Lake Fever has bit the dust, rendering this week's show un-doable. But I'm sure the Croftons (and JBC) will be back in action next week with plenty of greatness to make up for their absence this week.
