* Last time we checked in with The Nobility, they were releasing the très Andersonian music video for their single "Gentle Giant." Now they're presenting digital copies of the suggestively titled Christmas EP I've Got a Present for You over at their Bandcamp page. Stream it for free or buy the songs for 99 cents a pop. By the by, they'll also be playing the free Third Annual Christmas Ho Down over at Edgehill Studios tomorrow, Dec. 10, along with...
* David Dewese. In addition to playing that Christmas show with The Nobility and The Medders--read Gold's painstakingly written Critic's Pick on that affair--Dewese is streaming his yuletide release, Next Christmas, over at his website.
* Brett Rosenberg of The Joiners has a little "Jew-penned" Christmas jam up for grabs at his website as well. It's a two-minute folk-rock jam called "Rock and Roll Christmas," and you can name your own price for it. Knowing Internet folks these days, however, I'm guessing the price most frequently named will be "No moneys. K Thnx."
* The Zut Alors have a holiday podcast ready for download. Get that here.
* And finally, Chuck Mead--the dude from BR549 and also my next-door neighbor--has offered to let us post a holiday song of his. It's called "The Holiday Song," appropriately enough, and it's a quirky little number. Listen here. Now Chuck, please stop blocking me in my driveway with that van of yours.

Mia Calderon, Gabe Vitek, Kat Smo, and Max and the Wild Things have each posted a song at http://december13.bandcamp.com to promote their show at The Basement this Sunday. Not holiday related, but they're FREE. The Max and the Wild Things song "You Got Your" was recorded at Welcome to 1979 and will be part of the bands' upcoming EP "The Grass Is Always Greener".
