Remember when this town once made you feel so good? That's an opening line from Glossary frontman Joey Kneiser's new solo record, All-Night Bedroom Revival, just released for free download on Glossary's website. Maybe he's talking about Murfreesboro, and how, when you first move there, you're all full of idealism and hope and creative energy, before you get all burned out and cynical about life and shit. You know, maybe. Anyway, the band is touting this nine-song scrappy care-worn fighter of a record--which includes Kevin Kerby cover "Paper Mills"--as an appetizer to hold you over till Glossary proper releases their new record, Feral Fire, on Feb. 2. But this solo effort--which Kneiser recorded all by his lonesome--is already getting its own official rave reviews. For instance:
[Redacted] baffled at how 30 people could RSVP "not attending" to a free record download. and it's SO SO GOOD. Thanks Joey of Glossary, you've outdone yourself again.
Again, get it here for free. It sounds like the perfect tunes for any backroad trip across Tennessee for the holidays.
