Surely you haven't forgotten about that upcoming Cheap Trick show at The Ryman on Dec. 3. You really shouldn't need any more incentive than Cheap Trick to make it out to the mother church that night, but in case you do I have good news for you. From the Department of Matches Made in Heaven, it has just been announced that the Tennessee titans of '90s power pop, Superdrag, will open the show. I don't know about y'all, but I'm looking forward to seeing two generations of meat-and-potatoes power pop coming together to fill my night with heavy hooks galore. It'll be downright heartening. Tickets are on sale now for price of $29.50-$49.50. Pick them up here.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. Davis strapped on a 5 neck Hammer for a song or two.

Dang, I need some cash to fly out there. Maybe I'll pull a few not-so-cheap tricks to raise funds? That would be a superdrag if I couldn't make it.
