Any Nashville performer knows that musical relationships are not monogamous. In fact, you're more likely to encounter musicians involved in a multitude of projects in this town than find one who has one primary commitment. Such is the case with local journeyman drummer Miles Cramer, who plays in eight different bands, stylistically ranging from frenetic indie-rock and electronica to children's pop and hard-hitting guitar-based prog. Despite his full dance card, Cramer is leaving Nashville for, wait for it...Asheville, N.C., where he plans to open a tea company called Smiles Tea. In honor of the move, he is throwing himself a last hurrah in the form of an 8 off 8th showcasing each of his associated musical projects. They include Cramer and Hajacos, The Vermicious K'Nids, Happy Birthday Amy, Adam and the Couch Potatoes, Jenny Wood, Gunslinger, Amerigo and This is Art.
