Cream / Cream Calendar / Creamtastic / National Skyline Lambchop: Live at XX Merge

There were many, many reasons all of us here at the Cream felt beyond bummed we didn't get our collective ass in gear to hit the road to Carolina for XX Merge, the recent celebration of one of the great indie labels of all time. Adding insult to injury: learning about the instantly legendary set turned in by our hometown faves Lambchop--which made quite the impression on all who saw it, including the Washington Post, whose David Malitz wrote, "it's unanimous...Lambchop stole the show at XX Merge." Le sigh.
Via Pitchfork, news that the performance will become a new live album and film, Live at XX Merge. Stream that baby at the Merge site and get ready to pick it up Nov. 17 (digital) or 24 (physical).
