Golden Nugget: Hotpipes on AMC

Posted by Adam Gold on Mon, Nov 9, 2009 at 3:12 PM

Word on the street is that what's left of now-defunct Nashville favorites Hotpipes are currently in the midst of recording their swan song with Jeremy Ferguson over at Battle Tapes. While the band is no longer a band, their star is on the rise, as their song "The Future Is Where We Belong" was featured last night in a promo for the AMC's 2010 programming lineup. You may have seen it after Mad Men. The clip was posted on YouTube by DualtoneMusic. No, AMC does not pay us for advertising. As you may recall, this isn't the first time the song has made an appearance on the nation's babysitting machines. It was featured on an episode of Gossip Girl last spring.
