Fresh Vid: Cortney Tidwell's 'Son and Moon'

Posted by Adam Gold on Wed, Nov 4, 2009 at 12:04 PM

Are you stoned right now? You know, it's Wednesday and you just sneaked out to the parking lot, and now you're sittin' there in your cubicle dicking around on the Net, distracting yourself from data entry by reading all the rockin' pearls of wisdom we have to offer here on the Cream. Yeah, I know the score. But don't worry: Your secret is safe with me. Since my empathetic ass understands your plight like no other, I've decided to enhance your workday with this totally bitchin' Cortney Tidwell video, which was just posted a few days ago on YouTube.

The video--directed by Hands off Cuba's Ben Marcantel--is for the song "Son and Moon," off of Boys, which happens to be the Scene's Best of Nashville pick for "Best Local Album Only Available as an Import." Both the song and the video rule my face and I promise will do wonders to your work buzz. It's almost as awesome as this. In case you forgot to read Steve Haruch's review of Boys and interview with Tidwell from a few months back, revisit it here. Also, check out Hands off Cuba's remix of the video here.
