Bad Friend, JEFF the Brotherhood [Newsy Bits]

Posted by Steve Haruch on Tue, Oct 13, 2009 at 9:56 AM

* The Opening Acts went and posted a video of Bad Friend's first song, "Lemonhead Loser," from their Next Big Nashville set Saturday night at The 5 Spot. Good stuff that I was able to appreciate this time around, being a lot soberer than the first time I saw them.

* The new JEFF the Brotherhood album, Heavy Days is out today, and it's good. Look for a review in this week's gimungous Best of Nashville issue. In the meantime, JTB play a free record release show at Grimey's tonight at 6 p.m., and another show later tonight, uh, somewhere else that's named for a member of The Misfits.

Bad Friend are so underrated. Probably my favorite Nashville band.

JEFF the b-hood loves bad friend.
we cant put the address to the show tonight on the internet but it shouldn't be too hard to find out. it's 2$ to get in to support our friends GROOMS from brooklyn, who are playing as well. Also, if you buy our record at the show you will get a bonus LP, we can't tell you what band it is.
