Nashville to Get All Sides of Hank III

Posted by Adam Gold on Tue, Sep 29, 2009 at 12:59 PM

Hank Williams III is playing Nashville. Not once, but twice. The first appearance is slated for Oct. 10 and will be an acoustic and civil affair for the well-behaved over at the Country Music Hall of Fame, as part of their Family Tradition: The Williams Family Legacy exhibition. The second appearance will be a blood-and-guts showing of Hellbilly fury over at the Mercy Lounge that will feature the no-holds-barred punk-metal of Assjack. That'll take place on Nov. 23. Admission to the CMHOF show is first-come, first-served with a ticket to visit the Hall. Check the museum website for those. Tickets for the Mercy show go on sale this Friday through Ticketmaster.

Shelton is the most honest musician out there. Best thing to come out of Nashville to date.
