Cream Calendar Road Trip to Memphis: Stay Tuned to Gonerfest Coverage

We've blogged a bit about the annual punk/garage-rock festival Gonerfest 6, and now it is upon us! My companion and I will be starting our actual road trip to Memphis in a few hours, so over the next few days, stay tuned for coverage of bands like Hunx and his Punx, White Wires, Box Elders, Cheater Slicks, my celebrity crush Nobunny, and others. Due to timing issues, I couldn't make the Thursday night show featuring The Reatards and The Shitty Beach Boys, but will probably get there tonight in time for The Oh Sees and Compulsive Gamblers. I hope to see some Nashvillians there; if you can't go but want to see some garage rock, I suggest tonight's Cheap Time show at Springwater.
