* Ahahaha! When hit-making rapper and fake Louis Vuitton fan Rick Ross was in town to play at Municipal Auditorium this summer, a bunch of groupies rolled up into his spot and pinched approximately $60,000 worth of bling and computers. Watch the video above, and see if you recognize the perps. If you do, give 'em a big ol' high five for me--that shit is awesome.
* The other day, I mentioned that Bun B, one half of Southern rap pioneers UGK, was signing autographs at Phat Kaps in Antioch. What I didn't mention was that there was a special VIP-only live performance, too. It might have been a Titan-filled VIP party, but it had a vibe more like chillin' in your mom's basement--low-key, unpretentious and chilled way, way out. Bun B killed with classics like "Draped Up," "International Player's Anthem (I Choose You)" and "Big Pimpin' " for a crowd that was far more excited than the VIP tag would imply. Totally sweet. Phat Kaps is definitely a prime spot for in-store shows, and they've got some super-hot kicks to boot. Check out this video for a little bit of what you missed.
* Rejoice! Cookin' Wit Big Fella: The Hustlin' Gourmet is now on Comcast Channel 10 every Tuesday at 7 p.m.!!! Anybody who's ever taken a late-night bong rip in Rutherford County knows Big Fella has the best cooking show of our generation (sorry, Neelys) and if you don't believe me, catch his YouTube channel. How can you argue with a dude that says "salmonella is like culinary AIDS"? You can't, that's how.
