Cream Calendar Weekend Round-Up: Who Will Stop the Rain Style Part 1

So they say it just might flood this evening. Notice that the torrential downpours started roughly around the time when John Fogerty played that awesome, semi-secret show at Mercy? Coincidence? Well, I mean...yeah. Obviously. Fogerty, awesome though he may be, is not The Floodbringer. Not yet. Here are some of tonight's shows:
Humankind Grand Opening feat. Joel J. Dahl, The Hardy Boys & Kacey Musgraves. That's an early one. 6:30.
Greg Ginn and the Taylor Texas Corrugators w/Jambang & Wrangler Space at The End. Debate the merits of Ginn's current project here.
Out the Other Birthday Bash feat. My So-Called Band, And the Relatives & Eureka Gold at The 5 Spot. Celebrate the existence of Janet Timmons, a celebrator of local rock.
Ghostfinger w/Tristen & Paper Navy at Exit/In.
Rusko at Limelight. I can't say I know Rusko's deal, but Maloney says he's "one of the globe's leading DJs." Sounds like high praise to me.
Salome, Sacaea & more at Little Hamilton.

Free Show at the Closing Bell on Demonbreun with Luke and the Late Nights, Cosmic America and a lot of record spinning by Bowls.
Last I spoke with her, it sounded like it was going to be her with Larissa (cello, guitar & vocals) and Jordan (bass and BGVs). Unless they've found a fill-in drummer in the past few days I'm unaware of (I'm obvs. unavailable tonight), I'm thinking it'll just be those three.
