Heaven is in the palm of our hands, and it's waiting here for you. That's right. You might have already known that Queensrÿche will be playing Cannery Ballroom Nov. 11. But did you know that Runaways lead guitarist, First Lady of Hair Metal--unless that title has by this point been usurped...I certainly wouldn't know--and Ozzy power ballad coconspirator (see above) Lita Ford will be opening? Boom! Now you know.
Queensrÿche are still touring in support of their March release, American Soldier, which is "more than a concept album." Apparently it deals with the social implications--NOT the political implications--of war. Read more about that here if you're so inclined. The presale is going on today until 10 p.m., but their general public sale begins tomorrow, Sept. 18, at 10 a.m. Go here to buy you some. $26.50 in advance, $30 day of.
