As many of you already know, dharmakaya frontman, Spat! Records honcho and The End doorman Stacy Fleeman passed away last month at age 33. It would be an understatement to say all of us here still find it hard to believe he's no longer with us.

Stacy's Spat! Records co-conspirator A.J. Schaeffer has put together a concert for Stacy, and it's set to go down Saturday, Oct. 3 at The End (of course) and will feature the talents of dharmakaya, Fall With Me, Silent Friction, Inglewood, Creeping Cruds, The Billy Goats, The Destructions, Jah's Addiction & Fire Walk With Me. Is there a better way to honor Stacy's memory than to RTFO on Elliston Place? I don't think so. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the cover is $5.

I hope someone does a Spider Virus cover.

So that wasn't a typo, Silent Friction is actually playing and not Matt Friction's new band? That sure takes me back.

We originally had Lovebucket & Slaphappy Superfly down but all the original bass players no longer live in Nashville. So they MAY or MAY NOT be playing. Would love to say they are playing but so far, we don't know.
And yes someone should play a Spider Virus song. Play anything Stacy would love.

We will definitely be doing a Spider Virus cover that night. We met Stacy on July 1, 2009 when we played a Spider Virus medley and he came running in to watch. You can see a video clip of us and Stacy at our myspace www.myspace.com/thedestructions or at the Spat! Records site at www.myspace.com/spatrecordstn We are very proud to be involved in the Concert for Stacy and hope to RTFO with all of you on Oct. 3rd. Be sure to introduce yourselves to us then....

I wish I could be there to RTFO for Stacy so badly! I'm still living in L.A. and too broke to buy a plane ticket. Baby Stout has smoked a million cigarettes with Stacy Fleeman. I love him always.

You will hear all of Stacy's favorites in between bands. There will also be a slideshow right before dharmakaya goes on.
