Moving Pictures Fall Dates, Fresh Vid: Those Darlins, 'Red Light Love'

Have a look at the new video for "Red Light Love" from Those Darlins. This one happens to be my favorite track from their eponymous debut record. Just, you know, for the record. It was illustrated and directed by Jessi Darlin, with additional artwork by fellow Darlin Nikki and male Darlin Sheriff Lin. Animation and editing by Teddy Gage. For a rousing game of "Name That Nashville Rock 'n' Roll Proponent," have a careful look at the 3:00 mark. I spotted illustrated depictions of Kindergarten Circus, Grimey, at least one of the Thirty Tigers folks, members of Glossary and Geoff from The Basement. And also Groucho Marx.
The Darlins are unsurprisingly staying busy. According to their Twitter feed, they're doing a taping with NPR today, and they've just announced upcoming dates with Charlie Louvin (!), The Meat Puppets (!!), Dr. Dog (!!!) and more. Take a gander at the full list after the jizz-ump.
