Moving Pictures Hardcore Yet Bluesy Parking Lot: The Dead Weather at War Memorial

I wish I could quit you, You Tell Concerts. But I can't. Here's the response YTC got outside The Dead Weather show at War Memorial last week. People seemed to like the "really rockin', kinda indie" sounds of the D-Dub, calling the band "hardcore yet bluesy" and comparing them to, uh, Sonic Youth. When this kid says he "follows the Dead," he doesn't really mean what I think he means, does he? Because then he wouldn't refer to Alison Mosshart as "the chick," right? I mean, right?
