While our ongoing and warranted bitch fest over bands not coming here is sure to continue for a long time to come, I do take comfort in the fact that I can always count on my lord and savior Bruce Springsteen to be there for us. It has just been announced that the Boss--E Street Band in tow--will make his third appearance in Middle Tennessee in just over a year on Sept. 10, once again at the Sommet Center. Tickets will go on sale Jul. 25. Prices have not yet been announced, but if previous shows on this tour--I've already seen four--are any indication, we can expect them to range in price from $30-$95. Which is pretty cheap for something life-changing.
Don't believe me? Just go and see for yourself. You weren't impressed at Bonnaroo? Suck on a tail pipe--you have no soul. People who are aware of my zealous love for Springsteen often come up to me and express interest in seeing one of his legendary shows. Out of 16,000 available seats, 12,349 were filled when Bruce came to Sommet last August--let's do better this time, people. Also, as a fan I can tell you that best shows on a Springsteen tour are definitely those in the final leg--which this one most definitely is. Set lists are more varied, the band is at its tightest and super fans are out in full force. Don't fuck this up!

I am totally going to go to this. Officially sold.
Gold, make me a mix of what you think the set list will be. It'll be fun! For both of us!
Okay... I have no more excuses. I will finally go to a Sommet center show. Because it's the mother trucking BOSS.... playing AGAIN. I'm going to go with a fanatic friend.
