* Those of you who are chomping at the bit to hear Jack White's drumming on the upcoming release Horehound by his new band The Dead Weather but are morally opposed to downloading shit illegally, don't fret. iLike is currently streaming the record for free and with the band's permission here. The record drops in tangible form on July 14 and the band make their Nashville debut at War Memorial Auditorium on July 30.
* According to the Nashville Business Journal performing rights agency BMI is moving 25 to 30 jobs from New York to Nashville as part of "a long-term effort to shift much of BMI's work from Manhattan to Nashville."
* Rosanne Cash will be joined by Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen, Jeff Tweedy & Rufus Wainwright on her upcoming release The List. The album, which is set to drop on Oct. 6, will feature "contemporary interpretations of 12 classic songs culled from a list of essential country tunes that her legendary father Johnny gave her in 1973."
