National Skyline Lookin' Good, Nashville

As if I didn't catch enough shit last year reporting De Novo Dahl's appearance on Vogue Magazine's website, Style.com, I still couldn't help but find it noteworthy how hard Music City is representing in the website's "Bonnaroo Style Notes" this year.
Those Darlins, The Features' Rollum Haas, members of Justin Townes Earle's band, photog Josh Hayes, and a couple folks I don't know are all featured sporting what are apparently some exceptional threads alongside other notable hot shots like Drew Barrymore and Robyn Hitchcock. Though, while we're by no means fashionistas here, I can't help but feel a little slighted no one from the Cream was included. What? Maloney's faded, see-through Ministry tee, or D. Patrick's white t-shirt and jhorts combo not working for you, Vogue?

Damn. I put a lot of thought into that ensemble.
True story: I was walking around the grounds with a very stylish and attractive female companion of mine, when someone from Lucky Magazine stopped us and said, "Can we take some pictures of you and ask you some questions about your clothes?" I was all, "Oh yeah. Totes." And then they were all, "Oh, um...we just meant with her."
Ya burnt.
I think it was Dave Paulson that asked me if I was was wearing sweatpants and I was all like no, these are awesome, grey, thin-ass cotton sleeping pants. That end at my calves. He laughed and laughed.
I would love to make some cut off shorts and cut of tee shirts, and cut off shoes, and cut off belts for anyone who's looking to up their style points.

OK. Yeah, I agree these girls are trying a little tooo hard to be emo. My boyfriend was a fan of wearing women's jeans but I finally convinced him to switch to a brand that looks good.
It's called INDIE PEACE and it's affordable. I also heard that they are coming to Nashville this weekend at the American Artisian Fair. I'll be there and so will my bf!
