Moving Pictures Fresh Vids: Andrew Bird at Grimey's

YouTube user aaronwbriggs has posted eight videos from the Bird Man's in-store at Grimey's on Saturday. Some of you might have caught it. Others might have caught him at the 'Roo yesterday. Still others might have intended to see one and missed both. D'oh. Oh yeah, Bird covered Smog's "Cold Blooded Old Times," so be sure to watch that one.

He opened with the Callahan cover. The whole performance was great, and he really belted out the vocals (hard to tell in the video, but trust me it came out loud and clear).

Thanks for posting. I was the door guy for the store that day, so I had a nice angle for recording.
Really, I want to thank all the people who were patient and hung out on the porch -- very cool crowd out there. Wish we could have made room for everyone and let you all in, but we filled up quick. Hoping the video at least makes a nice consolation prize...
