* The latest in the excellent Lake Fever Sessions series is now up, featuring And the Relatives, who recorded with Caitlin Rose and Tristen adding vocals on two songs, including a cover of Fleetwood Mac's "The Ledge." Scene staffer D. Patrick Rodgers plays in this band and yes, we wrote and cared about them before he started working here. Check out "Cowboy Jazz" (not to be confused with Cowboy Bebop.)
* Out the Other's exhaustive, crowd-sourced Bonnaroo previews just keep on comin'. Jenny Lewis and Allen Toussaint just to name two of the 12 or so that have been posted so far today.
* Bunch of roads gonna be closed and full of tourists.
* Finally, there's the country music Twitter chart. Part of me wants to try to come up with a predictive formula for number of followers, like age of artist fanbase times 1.5 number of tweets per day divided by 1/2 highest chart position in the last six months. But I won't. I might put together a local rock Twitter chart, though.
* Oh, and it's YASNI time, y'all.

Just an observation, of course...
But there is an interesting similarity of timbre between the lead singer of And The Relatives and the lead singer of Kings of Leon--which I mean in no way to be a cut or a dig (I actually like both their voices).
Just saying...
Nice session brothers--well done.
Awesome session by And the Relatives. Good job with the Mac cover!
