Six days and counting to Bonnaroo 2009, kids.
By now, you've probably mapped out your schedule, or at least set some priorities, like "No matter, what, I'm not going to miss _______, even if it means missing _______." Or, your priorities might look more like, "I'm gonna candy-flip Friday and eat mushrooms Saturday!" Right now my biggest hassle is trying to figure out if I'm going to stay in town to see St. Vincent at Mercy Lounge or see her while my shoulders feel like they're on fire. (I suppose I could refer to that condition as "St. Vincent's Fire.")
But what about all the other stuff? There's the Silent Disco, where you dance around in headphones. (Or stand around in headphones with your arms crossed. Nashville represent!) MLB's going to have batting and pitching cages. The Troo Music Lounge is where The Features, The Protomen and Heypenny will be playing the sets they won via the Road to Bonnaroo 8 off 8ths and where you can also "recharge your cell phone/PDA with the solar powered chargers, refresh in the cool jet courtyard complete with a misting station, and reconnect with friends using the Wi-Fi computer bank."
Fire clowns kind of freak me out, but apparently "The Art of Such N Such is back with more fire and fandango than you can shake a stick at!" If at any point you see me shaking a stick at anything while at Bonnaroo, please take me to a POD "community center" immediately, because I probably think Falcor is about to swoop down and take me to the Death Star to meet up with Taylor Swift and eat bibimbap in the food court.
Plans?
Showing 1-8 of 8
bibimbap in the food court? bonnaroo just keeps getting better. other than that, my plans revolve entirely around scoring free booze.
Also, Kidz Jam will be there in the heart of Centeroo with crafts and entertainment for families at Bonnaroo. See ya there!
this might happen there...
