"It's not all the cocaine. It's not the chemical imbalance in [her] brain." So what is it? It's new tracks on her MySpace page. That's what it is. Former BYOP frontwoman and Nashvillian-turned-Brooklynite Jemina Pearl recently finished recording her record and has uploaded three new tunes, one of which is titled "Nashville Shores." You knew she has been playing with John and Max--formerly of Turbo Fruits--for a while now. And you knew she was all "Preemptive fuck you!" to those of us in Music City who would potentially lob an F-bomb in her direction. But now it's time for the music to do the talking. Let's all peep the tracks and report back.

Also, Jemina's got a bloggy if you want to keep up with her.

Wow, I'd have to say that's the closest she's come to creating something musical, so good for her (or whoever wrote and played on that).
