Cream Calendar Poolapalooza 2009: Gaylord Rocks Your Bikini

Local funk troupe Space Capone may have narrowly missed punching their ticket to Bonnaroo, but they did land a sweet spot jammin' at the pool--which, when Sweaty Pits McJune rolls around, might feel like a better prize.
Once again, the Gaylord Opryland hotel is putting on their Poolapalooza series--which last year featured bunch of bands and will this year feature even more bands!
The weekly happening begins at the Cascades pool at 6 p.m., with music starting at 7 p.m. There is apparently "free parking in select lots," though I'm not sure which ones. Swimming was encouraged last time around, so pack your Speedokini or whatever. Poolapalooza is all ages. Here's the lineup:
- May 29: Jeffrey Steele
- June 5: Armed Forces
- June 12: Sons of William
- June 19: Space Capone
- June 26: KingBilly
- July 3: AutoVaughn
- July 10: Sam and Ruby
- July 17: Ricky Young and Red White Blue
- July 24: Brother Trouble
Oh, and admission is free.
