Cream Calendar Weekend Round-Up: Swimsuit Style Part 1

In honor of it summer's approach and our swimsuit issue hitting the streets this week, I decided to throw a little something special up for this weekend's round-up. Tigers Con Queso w/Dixie Whiskey & Mean Tambourines at The 5 Spot. The reign of Tigers Con Queso will soon come to an end, so go check it out before the boys (and girl) revamp their sound and start writing songs that are longer than two minutes. 'Cause that's what they're about to do.
Sarah Siskind CD Release feat. Joe Pisapia & Mack Starks at The Basement.
Small Axe w/Thunderbear at Exit/In. Maloney calls Small Axe "rocked-up afro-prog," and I think that's exactly what it is. Saw them open for Lone Official one time, and they definitely played some bonkers, funktastic jams about pimps and pimp-related matters. Pretty cool.
Softer Louder w/This Is Art & The Coolin' System at The End.
