Creamtastic Oh, You and Your Feathers and Your Body That Was at Least Half Leg

Sigh. Why is that nearly all the Missed Connections at local rock clubs are initiated by dudes? Is it because most clubs are a total snake pit? And what makes people list these missed connections in the first place, especially when they refuse to give any identifying details about themselves? Is the late-night hungry-heart club syndrome so incendiary that people find themselves aching simply to commit fingers to keyboard just to exorcise their lusty demons, even if no one ever responds to their nighttime pecks? And why must these lovelorn souls exaggerate so cheesily? Is implying that someone's ethereal good looks make them seem as if from another planet actually a compliment? And does talking to a complete stranger in person who ostensibly has you completely captivated really make you come off as desperate? And if at least half your body really was composed of leg, wouldn't that in fact be considered proportionate and therefore not extraordinary at all? Wouldn't that make it ridiculously easy to stroll around with a "lanky stride?" Someone, anyone, please, answer these riddles.

You: Adorable with red hair pulled up with feathers, boots and at least half your body was leg. I saw you sitting alone sipping on a drink at the bar, and then a few times later but I lost track of you by the Dent May set.Me: Enjoying (from a distance) watching your feathers shiver as you moved your head and the way you walked across the room with a lanky stride. I wanted to comment on your presence and how you had me completely captivated but I knew I would have sounded desperate. I felt like you were from somewhere else. Maybe another time or another planet?
