Electro-Pop Parking Lot: The Veronicas at Rocketown

Posted By on Mon, May 11, 2009 at 2:34 PM

As far as entertaining concertgoers are concerned, metal heads will always take the cake. As seen in this video, filmed outside Saturday night's Veronicas show, RCKTWN's anti-intoxication policy severely hinders the obnoxious lush factor in YTC's parking lot vérité. So what did we learn here? That instead of melting faces, they touch them; one of them is blonde, "they sound just like they do on their CDs," "Jess is a little more edgier than Lisa"; and that at least seven dudes will go on the record and admit to liking this band un-ironically. Also, opening act The Pretty Reckless--featuring Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen--"rocked it" and were "very Courtney Love." In keeping with the Mother's Day spirit, The Veronicas performed a cover of Tracy Bonham's unfortunately not-forgotten 1996 hit "Mother, Mother." Apparently, The Veronicas aren't Danzig fans.
