Today is May 5--that's English for "Cinco de Mayo"--and while D. Rick already hipped you to the indie rock haps over at La Paz, perhaps that's not your copa de salsa. Maybe you want to hit the lights and get caught in a mosh. Or win some Metallica tickets. In that case, pull on some nut-huggers and some leather, and get your ass over to FooBar tonight for Pounding Metal. What is Pounding Metal?
POUNDING METAL is the ONLY weekly heavy metal night in Nashville! Every Tuesday at Foobar, DJ Battletorn and DJ Grinder spin metal records from 9pm until close with contests, live bands, and drink specials all night long. May 5th will mark "Cinco de Metallico", which we're celebrating with a Metallica ticket raffle! We'll also be giving away some other Metallica merchandise with a Metallica trivia game. Come bang your head and get some free stuff while the DJs play hits from every Metallica album ever released, and tons of other killer metal too!
