So, Katy Perry's playing The Cannery tonight, and if you don't have tickets, then you're mostly out of luck unless you're willing to hustle. As you may recall, way back in November, when it was first announced that Katy Perry would be coming to town, some Cream commenters were confused as to who the hell she was. (And about some other things, as well.) Perhaps the confusion was due in part to the fact that when she was here in Nashville, she was known by her given name, Katy Hudson.
Before she was kissing girls oh-so-naughtily and "outing" gay dudes who aren't, uh, actually gay, she was fulfilling her Born Again obligations and singing gospel, as evidenced on her non-breakthrough album, Katy Hudson (Red Hill Records, 2001). It's what you might call a Reverse Head, but I'm still not sure if that's "the fucking joke" that Perry claims she wrote, and which I still don't get.

Apparently, THIS is what evangelical parents create when they keep their children from listening to secular music.
she turned out pretty cool. regardless of your musical tastes, the girl is making cash and having fun. sounds like a great career to me.
where did you hear that she wasn't allowed to listen to secular music?
Almost any article that talks about Katy Perry's background mentions this. Here's Wikipedia:
"She grew up listening to gospel music and was not allowed to listen what her mother called secular music"

well if it's good enough for wikipedia... it's good enough for me!
If you google search her self taken nude pic, you'll see that she has a pretty little hot bod.
The naked pics aren't her, just a girl with the same haircut and a different nose. Trust me, I've thoroughly researched it.
