Ah, Easter. That holiday I always forget until my mom calls and tells me it's time to go to the country, eat a ton of food and fall asleep. Forget the religious implications; that sounds pretty alright to me. Here's what you can do in the meantime:
JEFF the Brotherhood 7-inch Release Party feat. The Tits & Weiners at The End. The bros will be releasing, according to Admiral Steve Haruch, "the alluringly feline-sleeved 'Mind Ride' and a joint effort with New York's Screaming Females forthcoming."

Pico vs. Island Trees' Futura EP Release at Mercy Lounge feat. Elle Macho and, ahem, another band. Visit Pico's MySpace to peep a peak of the EP and stuff.
Former Smog man Bill Callahan is playing an in-store at Grimey's at 5 p.m. As Dustin Allen will tell you, if you show up for the in-store, you'll get a three-day sneak preview of Callahan's next record.
As usual, Saturday Night at the Opry will be going down, but this time it features the legendary Mel Tillis.
James Wallace and the Naked Lights will be releasing Spring Honor and Light at The Basement. I'd say with all those options, you'll be able to find some fun in there somewhere. You know, in honor of Zombie Jeebus.
