Cream Calendar T.I. to Play Rites of Spring

Maybe you've heard about the latest addition to the Rites of Spring lineup: Pico vs. Island Trees. The show will be just in time for the local lounge-boppers' new album, Futura, out in April.

Oh yeah, and would-be machine gunner/rapper T.I. has also been added to the bill. The show will be just in time for T.I. to go to jail. Rites of Spring runs April 17-18. Tickets are $20-$55 and available through Ticketmaster or by calling 255-9600.

I'm betting Saturday. The past two years, the hip-hop headliner has gotten the second night's headlining slot.

Ugh, Rites has taken a big dive in the past couple of years. They had much better bands when it was FREE.

haven't they already said that the Lips are closing out saturday night?
since i assume he'll be the other headliner, i think he'll be playing friday.

I heard they have sold a lot of tickets and they might sell out for the first time ever. I bought my tickets tonight online. I think they are crazy for only charging $45 for a weekend ticket. That is a good buy and I am on the payment plan for Bonaroo
