The new Cortney Tidwell website is up at feverqueen.com. Her new album Boys will be out* on City Slang around the beginning of June, and you can download the song "17 Horses" over at the City Slang site. Check it out, because it starts off like "Waiting for My Man" but ends up somewhere around Alpha Centauri.

Meanwhile, it's off to the Old Country for Tidwell, who heads to Europe tomorrow to play a string of dates, including a slot opening for Beth Orton, then returns in May to open for Andrew Bird, among others.

* For us Nashvillians, it will be available only as an import. Still waiting to hear about a U.S. label.

Us Nashvillains will be able to buy Cortney's new album at Grimey's. We're buying stock direct from City Slang so we should have it at what would be approximately the domestic price. Cortney still needs an awesome label in the states but City Slang wanted to make sure that the real fans in her hometown had this new record when it's released.
