Metallica will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 4. Coincidentally, tickets to their Sept. 14 show at the Sommet Center go on sale that same day, at 10 a.m. Said tickets: $52 and $72 depending on where you are, through Ticketmaster.

According to the press release, "This tour features a stage 'in the round' with tickets on the floor being general admission. The remainder of the house will be reserved seating." Maybe they don't know that "in the round" is kind of a loaded term around here. Still, I don't expect there will be any drink minimums, shooshing or Don Schlitz. We are told that a portion of the ticket price is also going to charity, though they didn't tell us which one.
