I'm interested to see if a takedown notice involves destruction of offending files and something akin to a cease and desist order, or if it can mean eventual termination of internet service through AT&T for repeat offenders.
If the latter is the case, does the RIAA honestly think that cutting profits of the same companies who are helping them find illegal downloaders will actually work? The providers have already diverted a certain amount of their workforce and cashflow to this, so it doesn't seem like cutting subscribers is going to make them too enthused.
