Cream Calendar Brenda Lee Speaks at FiftyForward Knowles March 27

Just weeks after Wanda Jackson tore it up at The 5 Spot, her old pal and fellow genuine, bona fide rock 'n' roll legend Brenda Lee will be whispering her "sweet nothings" to folks at FiftyForward Knowles (at 174 Raines Ave.). Lee will join the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Vanderbilt and FiftyForward for a "brown bag luncheon" on March 27. The program is free and open to the public, and you can call 743-3400 to make a reservation.
Anybody else think Brenda vaguely resembles Coco of The Ettes in the above video? Maybe it's just my imagination, but either way, "it's alright with me."
