As you may remember, a few weeks back we gave King of Leon points for deciding to take The Walkmen on their nationwide arena tour. Well, you'll never believe who will be supporting teen pop sensations The Jonas Brothers when they come to the Sommet Center on Aug. 25 (just announced). It's a band whose bio reads as follows:
[Band] is the perfect storm of talent and vision...of musicianship and motivation...of business and pleasure.[Band] is where the great arena-rock acts of the eighties meet modern pop and hip-hop shows. Big beats, slick pop vocal harmonies and ripping guitar solos are well-executed and frequently delivered to large crowds of screaming fans.
[Band] has just released new studio recordings with a sound and style to fit their personalities. The four gentlemen do not hope, but rather expect that you will enjoy them.
I know, I know, you're thinkin' it could only be The Raconteurs right?
No, it's actually The Honor Society. Because of the overwhelming success of the Jonas Brothers, boy bands are now "rock" bands. The Honor Society sounds like a cross between The Backstreet Boys and The Get Ip Kids. You're gonna love it!
Tickets for the JB's go on sale Mar. 28.

I really appreciate whomever did the photoshop job on the raconteurs pic for taking the time to leave in Jack L's frames. awesome.
I appreciate that you appreciate me. Unfortunately, Gold fails to give me credit each time I work my magic for his silly little blogs. Being an artistic genius can be so trying sometimes.
