Jack White Is the Drummer in The Dead Weather

And Alison Mosshart of The Kills is the singer. There was a rumor going around town that The White Stripes were playing a secret show tonight, but the show in question was to grandly open the new office/performance space dedicated to Jack White's label, Third Man Records. The Dead Weather made their debut performance and handed out 7-inch singles in sleeves hand-painted by the band. You can check out the two songs from said single, "Hang You From the Heavens" and "Are Friends Electric?" (Gary Numan cover) over at the band's website. Jack Lawrence and Dean Fertita round out the lineup, and the band have a full-length, Horehound due out in June. The album was produced by--you guessed it--Jack White, and recorded at the brand new Third Man Studio, which was designed "from the ground up" by you-know-who.

From the Tnnsn, there's a record store inside the Third Man HQ. So... where exactly are the offices for Third Man?

I've read about 8 articles on the show last night... but nowhere does it say where the new third man HQ is at. Anyone know? I'd love to check out what Jack has created from "the ground up."

The idea of Jack White in another tired arrogant project is gayer than Kenny up above.
