The Hump Day Dance Is Your Chance

Posted by Steve Haruch on Wed, Mar 4, 2009 at 9:40 AM

* Free show at 11:30 this morning: Jamey Johnson at the corner of 5th and Commerce.

* Yewknee Records' first release is on its way: Uncle Skeleton, a project of Kindercastle's Ross Wariner. When I was growing up, blogs were blogs and record labels were record labels. Kids these days! Oh, download the song "Diskoteq," if you're into that kind of thing.

* David Vandervelde + Where the Moon Came From + 300 overdubs = "Psychedelic Saturday." Download all 15 minutes at Rock Proper. (Via MBV.)

I hear there's going to be free Hot Diggity Dogs and Dr. Pepper at the Jamey Johnson thing.

Jamey's guitar player was doing the Hendrix thing where you take a right handed guitar and flip it over since you're a lefty.
It was fun.
