It's another year of aural overload at SXSW, and Nashville and Murfreesboro bands keep making the annual trek to Austin (Mar. 18-22) in the hopes of standing out among the thousands of acts there hustlin' for your ears.
A list of local acts officially committed after the jump. And of course, this list doesn't include all the bands playing unofficially at clubs or day parties. (We already told you about the Next Big Nashville lineup here. And veteran attendee Janet Timmons of the Out the Other has a valuable guide to navigating the festival on the cheap here.)
I'll be attending this year, but I can't say I'm quite as excited about the lineup as I have been in previous years. But all I really need is my Horrors of 2009, that one band to go ga-ga over like a giggly little 13-year-old boy. Who else is attending, and what are you excited about seeing?
