Apparently we are all about to be part of the history and the myth as Slipknot "invades" the "Summit Center" [sic] this weekend. What kind of mythical history that is I'm not quite sure. I just hope it's not the history of fans dying of heart attacks at Slipknot shows. According to this NME story, 29-year-old Corey Nichols recently became the SECOND person to perish after suffering a cardiac arrest at one of the band's "heart stopping" concerts. Attend at your own risk!

What a terrible band. The dude is quick with his feet but really...so what?
I can't imagine how wretched that must feel... I remember reading about how Eddie Vedder and the whole band were devastated after a fan died at one of their shows. What a terrible thing to happen.
I think it's probably just an unfortunate coincidence. Slipknot may be pretty "metal", but I doubt they, or any band for that matter, is "metal" enough to literally induce cardiac arrest. Well, maybe Dethklok. I wouldn't be surprised if I were to find out that there was epidemic of—cocaine induced—heart attacks at Hall and Oats shows in the '80s.
IM GLAD THEY ADDED SUBTITLES IN MEXICAN SO WE ALL KNOW WHEN THIS IS GOING DOWN. NOT MANY PEOPLE KNOW THIS, BUT MEXICO MAY HAVE GIVEN ANTIOCH GREAT CHEAP FOOD AND LABORERS, BUT ANTIOCH GAVE BACK AS WELL IN THE FORM OF WHITE TRASH FATTIES AND THEIR DISTINCT TASTE IN MUSIC! VIVA LA SLIPKNOT. WE LOVE YOU!
