Cream Calendar Sinister Sundays at The 5 Spot

Unlike Mr. Rodgers and Mr. Gold, I plan on enjoying the shit out of some Super Bowl, including all the non-Springsteen portions. And for that reason I'm going to miss the first half of what I'm told is going to be a regular event at The 5 Spot. At 7 p.m. on the first Sunday of every month is going to be Sinister Sunday, a metal showcase hosted by local death metal crew Ophiuchus. The three songs on their MySpace page are called "Gods of Torture," "All Shall Burn" and "March into the Mouth of Hell." Plus, I have no idea how to pronounce their name, so they obviously mean business.
I commend The 5 Spot in their efforts to position themselves as the city's premier metal/swing dancing venue.

Just wanted to say, I was using a bit of hyperbole in my post. I am a moderate football fan, but don't follow much NFL outside of the Titans. I'll likely watch at least the second half of the 'Bowl after getting my fill of stolen iPods and spray-painted dicks. OK. Just wanted to separate myself from Gold's nerdy ass.
Also, Ophiuchus sounds metal as FUCK.
