You asked for news about BYOP's Jemina Pearl, and we've got it. Apparently the nymphish little darling will be playing her first solo show (the only one she's scheduled thus far) in Brooklyn on Saturday, Jan. 17. Via Brooklyn Vegan:
According to her (and Be Your Own Pet's) label Ecstatic Peace, ex-Be Your Own Pet frontwoman Jemina Pearl is busy "writing and recording" her debut solo album. Since BYOP broke up, Jemina surfaced once in the form of a Ramones cover she sang with Ecstatic Peace label boss Thurston Moore for an episode of Gossip Girl. She'll surface again (now with brown hair?) when she opens for The Fluid at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn this Saturday night (1/17).
That Ramones cover they're referring to is "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker," the cover our very own Gossip Guy Seth Graves told you all about just weeks ago. And since I know you're dying to hear said cover, the Gossip Girl clip awaits your viewing after the jizz-ump. (Thanks to Brian for the heads-up.)

I suppose I could have called her a "trashy little harlot." Irony is lost on some people.
