Wow Safety Dance: Anything and Everything About SafetySuit Can Be Summed Up In the Band's Name

Yesterday, someone in the comments asked about a band from here called SafetySuit who were currently holding at No. 8 in VH1's Top 20 Countdown right now. I did a little research, and by that I mean I typed "safetysuit" into the search engine of my choice. Turns out there totally is a band called SafetySuit, and they're totally in VH1's Top 20 Countdown for the video for their song "Someone Like You." And their MySpace totally says they're from Nashville. And they're totally on tour with Hinder! And you should totally vote for them, especially if you like this description from their bio:

Anything--and everything--about SAFETYSUIT can be summed up by the band's name.

"I think the key word is 'safety,'" explains singer/guitarist Doug Brown. "The four of us in the band have been friends forever. We feel comfortable around each other. We're in a safe environment...and that makes us feel free to be who we are. And, if we can inspire that moment or that feeling in our fans, we've succeeded."

Not surprisingly, they make the sort of radio-friendly beige-rock that only deep intimacy and comfort levels among band members can evoke.

Well yea, looking and sounding "safe" does sell records. These guys are incredible live and they definitely do not blow, Jeff.
