Cream Calendar Dr. Dog to Play Mercy Lounge Feb. 14

Philly's psych rock champs, three-part harmony masters and all-around super-nice dudes Dr. Dog have just been announced to play Mercy Lounge on Valentine's Day. While their summer release Fate may not have been quite as awesome as Easy Beat, or even We All Belong, I still feel a bit queezy over the fact that it didn't make Rolling Stone's top 50 of 2008.

But I digress. Drug Rug will be opening for the Dog, and, while their name falls somewhere between bad and terrible, they actually seem like a decent fit. Tickets are $12 in advance ($14 the day of) and go on sale Dec. 19 at 10 a.m.
